Job Overview
Our client is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer / Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Nilai Negeri Sembilan. This role involves evaluating and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency productivity and quality. The successful candidate will oversee facility layouts production lines and equipment compliance while driving cost-saving initiatives and maintaining safety standards. You will collaborate closely with the Production Department on maintenance scheduling liaise with regulatory bodies such as DOSH and DOE and manage technical projects to enhance operational performance. This position requires strong problem-solving skills proven manufacturing experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria such as: efficiency productivity scrap rate and etc.
- Study on production process and machine capacity and capability relevant.
- Integrate disparate systems (equipment handling transport working tools man working hour and etc)
- Optimize facility layout production lines and operation performance (effectiveness and efficiency)
- Training materials preparation for new and existing operation workers (WI SOP tools handling)
- Develop and implement improvements cost-saving measures and quality control standards.
- Ensure manufacturing processes machines and equipment comply with safety and legal compliance.
- Collaborates with the Production department to schedule repair maintenance and installation of machines tools and equipment to ensure continuous Production operations.
- Direct coordinate and review the work plan for assigned maintenance services and activities; assign work activities and projects; monitor work flow; review and evaluate work products methods and procedures; identify and resolve problems.
- Provide technical and expertise to ensure equipment meets operational standards and is in conformance with DOSH regulations including access and operations in DOSH appointed web portal.
- Liaise with DOE on factorys scheduled waste including licensing and access to DOE appointed web portal.
- Coordinate with TNB for plant shutdown operations PMA calibration and any relevant.
- Ad-hoc assignment from Superior from time to time.
Qualifications & Experiences Needed:
- Candidates must possess at least Professional certificates / Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Degree in Engineering studies.
- HVAC / engineering working environment of minimum 5 years is an advantage to the above role.
- Experienced in the manufacturing environment with a proven track record in improvement set standards project management etc.
- Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills team work leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Well understanding of Safety and Health regulations and practices.
- Ability to work under pressure multi-tasking effectively and manage priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Multi-lingual skills in speaking or writing in Bahasa Chinese and English.
- Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office Microsoft Outlook AutoCAD.
