The Role: Agile Tools Product Manager DTS PMO Tools

Grade: 9

The Location: Noida (primary)/Hyderabad

The Team:

The Digital Technology Services Program Management Office (DTS PMO) is responsible for the project framework used to prioritize execute and track projects and provides agile process governance to all S&P Global divisions. The DTS PMO Tools team is responsible for developing and managing tools enabling Agile Execution Project Portfolio Management and Reporting for all the S&P Global Divisions.

Overall goal of the DTS PMO Tools Team is to develop and manage a common Enterprise toolset for all divisions to enable projects prioritization resourcing execution and reporting.

Responsibilities:

In the day-to-day you will own a tool or functional module(s) from the DTS PMO Tools toolset. As the Agile Tools Product Manager you will manage and support stakeholders and users from all S&P Global divisions. You will be a facilitation hub for stakeholders from divisional PMOs engineering and the end users. With your acute communication skills you will be championing best practices and improving the delivery methods. Some of your areas of ownership will include:

DTS PMO Toolset Management and Training

  • As a Product Manager manage assigned DTS PMO tool set from end to end including development support training and rollouts.
  • Lead large scale process and tool integrations across the division.
  • Create own and manage product plans product roadmaps product backlogs user stories platform schema and work with engineering scrum teams to rollout new enhancements.
  • Develop communications plan deployment strategy and training materials to insure a smooth rollout and adoption
  • Working with key stakeholders continuously identify and prioritize tool enhancements needed to maximize global process benefits
  • Keep up to date on the current best practices on the assigned portfolio area and rollout best practices in new tools and processes
  • Provide training of Solutions/Capabilities/Features to divisional stakeholders and support them through on-boarding process
  • Measure and improve project execution via the Agile Scrum methodology

Program Portfolio Management

  • Establish partnerships with business unit leaders and provide visibility into actual IT investments.
  • Support the project peer review and company prioritization process.
  • For assigned business segments partner with all functional groups for effective implementation and use of the SAFe Agile Scrum and Project Tracking processes.
  • Perform Project portfolio analysis oversee project tracking and reporting.
  • Continuously improve PMO processes (SAFe Framework PRB Team Mapping and Execution) and facilitate key events
  • Own the new processes monitor adoption and strive for continuous improvement and innovation
  • Oversee measure and improve project execution via the Agile Scrum methodology (day-to-day management is facilitated by Project Management)

What Were Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Technology Engineering or related area
  • 5-8 years of relevant work experience in Portfolio Management/Agile domains
  • Experience using any Project Portfolio Management tool like Serena VersionOne etc.
  • Knowledge about the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Experience in Product Management with building Go-to-Market Plans and Product Support.
  • Demonstrable experience in facilitating leading influencing and managing within large-scale matrix globally distributed organizations
  • Prior experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner in the Agile framework is highly desired
  • Proven willingness to learn a positive attitude and an ability to work in a fast-paced high demand work environment.
  • Highly organized independent and multitasker
  • Good data analysis skills using Excel and any other BI tools
  • Open to working flexible hours as per business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAFe Certification
  • Experience in the financial services sector preferred
