Location: Yass Goulburn & surrounding areas
This role will involve:
- Mentoring coaching & developing the existing onsite team
- Day to day responsibility to ensure efficient and smooth day-to-day operations
- Strong customer service focus for residents satisfaction
- Responsible for understanding/ using as required the Site Accommodation Management Systems
- Actively overseeing the success of the contract KPIs through weekly involvement in client meetings
- Build and maintain relationships by way of quality delivery on our scope of services to our clients and residents
- Responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and ensure catering scope requirements and quality are maintained and met
- Inventory control including stock ordering stock takes & wastage
- Audit reporting for quality compliance and service standards
- Responsible for administrative tasks such as preparing reports for head office financial reporting for retail shop & timesheets
- Maintain a safe work environment and actively provide ongoing feedback about opportunities for improvement
- Ensuring and documenting staff awareness and adherence to HACCP Safety and Environmental practices and procedures
What are we looking for
- Minimum 3 years experience in the Village Service sector managing a village of 300 residents
- Ability to lead a large team of 15
- Understanding of catering is preferred
- Have a comprehensive understanding of hospitality services remote site services
- Strong problems solving skills
- Experience in performance management & appraisals
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate & develop your team
- Effective communication skills at all levels client facing and internal
- Intermediate computer and tech skills
- Experience in ordering stock-take and reporting
- Food safety and Hygiene training
- Experience using FIFO accommodation management systems
