The Fleet Coordinator provides support to MWVCAA in the area of fleet management and vehicle maintenance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2 years related experience in scheduling maintenance or transportation.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS
- Driver qualifications are required for this position. Valid driver license insured vehicle available for use on the job and a satisfactory drive record for the previous three years are required.
- Current valid Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) permit with:
- School Bus driver license endorsement (S Endorsement).
- Passenger driver license endorsement (P Endorsement).
- Successfully pass the DMV Air Brakes Knowledge test.
- Registration with the Central Background Registry of the Child Care Division.
- Oregon School Bus Drivers Certificate or ability to obtain.
- Current Medical Examiners Certificate Card or ability to obtain.
- CPR/First Aid Certification or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
- Candidate must pass pre-employment drug screen.
- Candidate is required to participate in ODOT random drug screening.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Understand vehicle maintenance best practices.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Outlook) videoconferencing platforms and web tools.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills in both oral and written form.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee will also perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
- Monitors own licensing and training requirements and ensures that current and legal bus driving requirements are maintained at all times. This includes at least 8-hours per year for special training.
- Maintains accurate records relating to use of program vehicles including insurance safety inspections maintenance and repairs.
- Monitors inventory of transportation related cleaning and vehicle supplies and purchases as needed.
- Establish and tracks preventative maintenance schedules.
- Coordinates with program staff to maintain vehicles.
- Assists facility coordinator in operational and administrative tasks.
- Maintains continuous work-related learning by attending regular and special program training events degree and certificate programs or comparable special studies by arrangement with the program administration and by reading materials related to their field and specialties.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES There are no supervisory duties in this position.

- Exercises judgement in determining priority of day-to-day tasks.
- Occasional driving to Marion/Polk counties
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Indoor office work environment with frequent interruptions and demands.
- Working with coworkers/clients over the phone and in-person.
- Occasional noise and distractions in work spaces.
- Occasional remote work.
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours including evenings early mornings and weekends.
- May be required to work additional hours as assigned.
