About the Role

Baker & & Leow is looking for an associate (3-5 PQE) to join our Tier 1 Tax & Trade practice in Singapore.

About the Team

Baker & Leow has the largest number of dedicated tax practitioners among law firms in Singapore and offers a comprehensive range of tax expertise. As a Tier 1-ranked Tax practice we regularly undertake global and regional work (such as multi-jurisdictional advisory planning restructuring and dispute resolution) and often drive the regional and even global strategy from Singapore working with our colleagues internationally many of which are top-tier tax practices in their respective jurisdictions.

About the Candidate

Singapore Bar qualification;
Strong academic background;
Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in corporate tax and international tax;
Exceptional technical drafting and commercial skills;
Strong client service orientation;
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team (including across Asia Pacific offices and internationally);
Strong business development aptitude interest and experience;
Keen and analytical mind good at legal analysis and with a knack for problem-solving;
Commitment to high work standards; and
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
