As an Operations Manager in a subsea autonomous robotics company youll oversee and optimize all aspects of subsea operations ensuring safe efficient and cost-effective delivery of services including project planning execution and resource management while adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement operational plans for subsea projects ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Oversee the execution of subsea operations including vessel operations HAUV operations and other subsea activities.
- Coordinate with various departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Resource Management:
- Manage and allocate resources including personnel equipment and vessels to support subsea operations.
- Monitor and control costs associated with subsea operations.
- Ensure the availability and readiness of necessary resources for subsea operations
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure that all subsea operations are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
- Implement and maintain safety procedures and protocols.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards regulations and company policies.
Performance Monitoring and Improvement:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to subsea operations.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and near misses.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and motivate a team of subsea operations personnel.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3 years experience of working on an Operations Manager position
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of subsea operations and industry standards.
- Experience in project planning execution and resource management.
- Active learner with a demonstrated interest in autonomous intelligent machines / robots
- Excellent communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing subsea operations.
