DUTIES
As a Sales Manager in the Sales & Marketing Division you will be responsible for the following sales activities:
Responsibilities :
Conduct sales activities through client visits emails and phone calls to acquire new accounts and strengthen relationships with existing clients within the assigned area and industry segment.
Respond to banquet and group inquiries by providing proposals quotations site inspections and handling negotiations to secure bookings.
Analyze market trends and competitors within the assigned segment to plan and execute effective sales strategies aligned with Shangri-La Tokyos business goals.
Plan and execute promotional activities and events to enhance brand awareness retain existing clients and attract new customers.
Lead and support Sales Executives and Sales Coordinators by providing guidance and motivation to enhance team performance.

Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel sales.

Previous experience in a 5-star hotel is preferred.

Result-oriented with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to write and communicate fluently in business-level Japanese.
Conversational-level English proficiency.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor junior staff.
Courteous curious and ambitious with the flexibility to adapt to various situations.
