Duties & Requirements
Duries:
Plan and coordinate MICE events (including group accommodations) and banquets handed over from the sales team (excluding weddings).
Fully understand and propose all products and services related to the event.
Coordinate all internal arrangements based on close communication with the organizer or client until the day of the event.
Maximize event revenue through upselling and value-added proposals.
Enhance overall customer satisfaction.
Aim to convert assigned events into repeat business.
Requirements:
Must hold a valid visa that permits work in Japan (e.g. Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services visa).
Experience in a similar role banquet operations or front office preferred.
Business-level proficiency in Japanese and conversational English skills required.
Familiarity with Delphi and OPERA systems.
Strong computer skills.
Experience in Food & Beverage operations is a plus.
A strong team player.
Patient and possesses excellent IT literacy.
