Job Title: Platform Engineer
Overview
Join a fast-growing FinTech company as a Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineer responsible for architecting and building a scalable secure and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS. Youll work with cutting-edge technology to deliver first-rate experiences for millions of users.
** Please notethat this opportunity requires relocationto Japan. Remote working from outside Japan is not possible. **
Your Role and Responsibilities
Design and build robust scalable and secure cloud infrastructure with AWS.
Ensure easy maintenance during patching and upgrades.
Collaborate with security engineers to provision secure infrastructure.
Automate AWS deployments for rapid cloud service delivery.
Enable developers to easily deploy resources on AWS.
Experience and Qualifications
8 years of cloud infrastructure experience.
Expertise in cloud security performance tuning and cost management.
Proficiency with AWS Kafka NoSQL databases Terraform and Linux.
Strong scripting skills in Python Shell Go/Rust.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a tech-related field.
Experience with GCP Azure Kubernetes and Event-Driven Architecture.
Contributions to open-source projects.
Any ability in Japanese language is a plus uif you have it (dont worry its not a disadvantage if not!)
Other Points and Working Conditions
This is a full-time position
If you are not currently a resident of Japan you must relocate to Japan but you can live anywhere in Japan and work fully remotely if you wish
Super flex working hours

Work Location

Salary
- (Japanese Yen per annum)
** Salary review is twice yearly and bonuses are paid twice yearly according to both company and individual performance. **
