Job Description

Position Description:

Seeking an experienced and strategic Director Consulting Services Quality Engineering (QE). You will lead the delivery of large fixed-price quality engineering engagements champion automation and AI-driven transformation and elevate QE performance across client organizations. This role balances delivery leadership client relationship management and financial accountability with the goal of exceeding quality metrics and fostering continuous innovation.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Service Delivery & Transformation
Lead the design delivery and successful execution of large fixed-price QE engagements (100 member global team) ensuring they are on time on budget and exceed business expectations.
Drive QE transformation initiatives integrating automation AI and modern testing frameworks across client environments.
Establish and monitor quality engineering metrics (e.g. defect escape rate automation coverage cycle time) ensuring continuous improvement and exceeding service level agreements.
Collaborate with CGI global delivery centers to optimize resourcing and delivery efficiency.
Client Relationship & Business Management
Serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership (VP/CIO/) building and nurturing long-term relationships
Manage the full P&L financials forecasting and pricing models for QE engagements
Actively identify growth opportunities support proposal development and contribute to account strategies
Lead client governance meetings executive-level reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
Team Leadership & Capability Development
Build lead and mentor a high-performing QE teammanagers automation engineers and architectswith a focus on career growth and retention
Cultivate QE capabilities by evangelizing modern practices (automation AI BDD CI/CD) and enabling adoption across teams
Manage resourcing and recruitment to meet project demands ensuring agility and scalability

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

15 years of experience in Quality Engineering specifically in Managed QE Services
Proven expertise in delivering fixed-price large-scale QE engagements and transformation programs.
Deep knowledge of test automation strategies AI-enabled testing and QE frameworks (e.g. BDD CI/CD)
Strong financial acumen: P&L management budgeting cost control and profitability in complex pricing models
Demonstrated ability to engage at the executive level (VP/MD/CIO) with excellent communication and influence skills
Track record of delivering client satisfaction meeting/exceeding SLAs and driving QE efficiency.
Experienced leader in building QE teams and fostering capability development.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or equivalent.
