Make an Impact by:
- To plan and implement on access equipment (MD ONU MSAN IAD ATA) & Main Distribution Frame. Supporting Singtel services (ALLC Del BizVoice ISDN2 Phonenet).
- Work closely with the transmission team operations and external parties in overseeing technical aspects system issue resolution and support of the MSAN tech refresh project.
- Coordinating with on growth & fault clearing.
- Support operation on Day0-Day2 requirements
- Mange contractor and vendors to deliver assigned tasks.
- SIR raising for the uplink circuit migration for the transmission changes.
- Migrate legacy equipment to FTTC/FTTH solutions
- Manage and co-ordinate with a team of lab staff in executing the projects and all test activities.
- Accessing and managing firewall policies via the command line interface
- Analyse and review the vulnerability scan & security report for network equipment devices and test system servers
- Manage maintain and enhance servers including but not limited to security patches OS update and renewal of SSL.
- Manage and co-ordinate with Property and Facilities Dept for services and power requirement.
- Any other tasks assigned by the manager.
Skills for Success:
- Degree in Computer Science/Engineering Electrical & Electronic and Mechanical Engineering
- Min 5 years operations support experience and3 years working in a IT support lead or IT engineering role
- Familiar with fix voice system and protocols.
- Relevant experience in the IT/Telco industry is a plus.
- Possess industry standard certifications CCNA or relevant is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with team and third-party vendors
- Able to manage multiple projects at same period.
- Good in Microsoft software (i.e. words power point excel etc)
- Highly motivated and able to work independently under pressure
