NASC Engineering is searching for an innovative and solutions-oriented Operations Engineers to lead Material Flow Optimization (MFO) Process initiatives in developing and delivering next generation world-class sortation and transportation systems. This position will have an impact on both design and process design engineering for the NASC.

Were looking to add a handful of high-impact operations engineers to our this role you will collaborate with internal and external teams develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for our sortation and distribution systems. Your projects will be a variety of template-based and designed-from-scratch along with ownership of Process Designs end to end complimenting each Design.
You will work with a team of highly skilled and highly engaged engineers in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment. Our team works on hundreds of projects each year. You will be challenged; you will learn; you will work on high impact high visibility projects; you will grow.
Key job responsibilities
- Coordinate efforts to develop optimal solutions and processes for the sortation and transportation network through material flow process design site layout and intellectual property considerations.
- Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality cost-effective solutions in very short periods of time.
- Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing negotiating and communicating with internal and external business partners contractors and vendors.
- Effective communication skills ability to execute the vision detailed roadmap and specific technical solutions.
- Travel 30% - 50% domestically although travel intensity can be variable.
- 5 years of industrial engineer operations engineer manufacturing engineer or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience
- Bachelors degree
- Knowledge of AutoCAD VBA and SQL at the intermediate level
- Experience working with and managing third party vendors
- Experience with Six Sigma lean manufacturing

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $68900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $126400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
