Are you looking for an internship position within PwCs Digital Identity Team Are you close to completing your masters/ bachelors degree and wanting to do your thesis in the area of Digital Identity We are looking for an intern to join our team to help build trust in society.

What will you be doing

During your Digital Identity internship you will be a full-fledged team member in our practice while working on your thesis. You will be able to make use of a flexible workspace at our office with your colleagues and will notice that owing to the open culture within the group you will get support from not just your internship supervisor. Other colleagues will also be happy to help if you have questions or come across problems. As you will be surrounded by professionals serving a wide range of clients there will be ample opportunities to discuss and evaluate your knowledge theories and conclusions.

Interested in doing research into one of the below mentioned topics:

1. Context based authorisation for AgenticAI

AI agents are moving from experiments to practical tools to automate complex tasks. To standardise the development of AI agent the Model Context Protocol (MCP) has been proposed ( However MCPhas notdefined an authorisation model leaving the Agents Authorisation decision to external tools most likely existing Identity and Access Management tools.

The goal of this subject is to understand the Agentic AI authorisation problem and its potential risks and identify how to apply concepts of Non-Human Identity and context-based authorisation to mitigate the risks when deploying AgenticAI.

2. Identity and Access Management in the Quantum Computingera

Quantum Computingis a significant advancement over conventional binary processing. Even with IAM vendors introducing Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) algorithms to their tool for data and tokens encryption it is still unclear what other risks quantum computing can impose to IAM systems and whether adoption of PQC by IAM vendors is sufficient to block cyber-attacks.

The goal of this subject is to understand the overall risks Quantum Computing will bring to IAM systems understand the NIST recommendations and what other potential features/capabilities would be required in addition to the adoption of PQC.
