We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the full operations of a large-capacity ballroom (minimum 2500 guests). This role is responsible for strategic planning daily operations sales and marketing coordination and ensuring exceptional service execution for all events held at the venue. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership extensive experience in managing premium ballroom or event spaces and a client-focused mindset to maintain the venues high service standards.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee the daily operations of the ballroom including event planning client servicing maintenance and staff management Drive event sales and build strong relationships with clients event organizers and vendors Ensure all eventsfrom weddings and corporate functions to large-scale conferencesare executed flawlessly Manage a team including sales operations security cleaning and banquet staff Oversee bookings and ensure efficient scheduling and space utilization Work closely with the culinary audio-visual and service teams to ensure alignment on event needs Ensure the ballrooms facilities are well-maintained and meet safety cleanliness and presentation standards Set and monitor budgets costs and revenue targets providing regular financial and operational reports Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the ballroom and attract new business Handle client feedback complaints and service recovery professionally and promptly Stay up-to-date with event trends and competitor offerings to continuously improve the venues competitiveness
Job Requirements: Male or female aged 3550 years Bachelors degree in Hospitality Business Event Management or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in managing a convention center/ premium ballroom / conference center or event venue with a capacity of 1500 guests or more Strong leadership and team management skills Proven ability to manage h
