Our client is one of the leading global logistics providers seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Director (Chief Overseas Officer) to oversee and expand our international operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing overseas logistics networks developing strategic partnerships and driving business growth.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Developing and implementing a comprehensive overseas strategy aligned with the companys overall business objectives.
- Network Expansion: Identifying and establishing strategic partnerships with international logistics providers freight forwarders and customs brokers to expand our global reach.
- Operations Management: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of our overseas offices ensuring efficient and effective execution of logistics services.
- Risk Management: Developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies to protect the companys assets and reputation in international markets.
- Team Management: Recruiting developing and leading a high-performing team of overseas logistics professionals.
- Financial Performance: Monitoring and analyzing the financial performance of overseas operations to identify areas for improvement and maximize profitability.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with international regulations and standards related to logistics trade and customs.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in international logistics management with a proven track record of success.
- Deep understanding of global supply chain dynamics customs regulations and trade agreements.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients partners and team members.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English and at least one foreign language (Chinese English).
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or other advanced degree.
- Experience in managing large-scale logistics operations in multiple regions.
- Proven ability to drive business growth and profitability in international markets.
