Seeking someone with quality business support experience to ensure our Transport & Infrastructure business continues to thrive!

As a Contract Administrator you will be joining our newly optimised Transport & Infrastructure Business Support Hub. You will support by executing general contract administration functions for our local management team the surfacing team and construction team.

Predominately supporting across local contracts you will play a key role in accurate data keeping system applications and business support process improvement.

Day to day your responsibilities will include;

  • Conduct administration functions in line with company policies business systems and correct accounting practices
  • Supply and maintain quality and accurate physical and electronic records
  • Accurately raise and process purchase orders invoices and work orders
  • Assist with month-end reporting
  • Complete monthly stocktake for the surfacing team
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal teams external suppliers and clients

This is a Full Time Permanent position based from our Waiwhakaiho New Plymouth depot.

Where no two days will be the same your highly organised approach and excellent attention to detail would be key to your success in this role. There will be multiple deadlines to meet each month hence it is a must for you to be deadline-focussed and have spectacular time-management skills. You will have a friendly personality with a solutions focused attitude. You will also have:

  • A current NZ Drivers Licence
  • Previous experience in providing quality business support
  • A high level of proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in financial systems including raising POs invoicing and claims
  • Experience in completing administrative stocktake procedures
  • Experience with accurate data entry and administration support
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in building and maintaining relationships at all levels
  • Experience using JD Edwards software SharePoint and an understanding of Local Authority and Transport services contracts would be highly regarded.
