Thats why were strengthening our finance function with a skilled and hands-on Manager Accounting & Reporting who can help us scale with confidence integrity and precision.
The Manager Accounting & Reporting is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial accounting and reporting across the organization. This includes local entity bookkeeping group consolidation statutory reporting and compliance. The role ensures the delivery of accurate and timely financial data and provides effective leadership across the accounting reporting and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
Key responsibilities and tasks include:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including bookkeeping payments and invoicing
- Lead group consolidation and manage monthly and annual financial reporting processes
- Manage internal and external audits ensuring timely and accurate financial statements
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and statutory obligations
- Lead and develop the finance team including Financial Controllers AR and Consolidation roles
- Coordinate with external accounting service providers for new entities and outsourced services
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls accounting standards and financial policies
- Collaborate with FP&A and other departments to ensure financial integrity and transparency
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Success in this role is measured by:
- Timeliness and accuracy of month-end and year-end closings
- Quality of audits and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Efficiency of financial operations and effectiveness of team management
- Implementation of process improvements and enhancements to internal controls
Requirements
- Masters degree or HBO in Finance Accounting or Economics
- 7 years of experience in accounting audit or financial reporting roles
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Dutch GAAP
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel
- Fluent in both Dutch and English
