Job Duties

As a Core SDM Architect you will be responsible for the engineering and solution design enhancement optimization new deployment and troubleshooting within our Packet Core & SDM Engineering division. Your role will involve active engineering work for 4G & 5G based services including SDL HSS UDM UDR AUSF and signaling nodes like DRA/DEA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of network solutions for both 4G and 5G services.

  • Enhance and optimize network operations and capabilities.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to core network components and services.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new technologies.

  • Drive continuous improvements in network performance and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A graduate degree in Engineering.

  • At least 10 years of overall experience in the telecom industry specifically with 4G & 5G services.

  • Hands-on experience with Signaling & IMS central core network elements.

  • Knowledge of OpenStack and Kubernetes.

  • Experience with switching networks signaling telecom standards and implementations.

  • Expertise in VoLTE design call flow deployment and feature testing/verification.

  • Excellent understanding of network E2E QoS enforcement for VoLTE services.

  • Understanding of 5G SA SBI communication.

  • Proficient in end-to-end troubleshooting for Diameter/SIP/SS7 protocol messages.

  • Experience with key network components such as Policy & Charging system SDM (HSS HLR SDL PGW AUSF UDM EIR) and DRA.

  • Analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

  • Understanding/Knowledge of 3GPP specs for IMS use cases.

  • Additional knowledge in networking Unix/Linux IMS solutions and SIP protocol.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge in VoLTE and legacy CS Network.

  • Hands-on experience with IMS core network elements.

  • Experience with packet core 5G Combo NF PGWSMF AMF.

  • Proficiency in general IP networking/routing.

  • Unix/Linux hands-on competence.

  • Expertise in IMS solutions and SIP protocol.

Preferred Certifications

  • Certification in Kubernetes and OpenStack.

  • 5G SA Architecture & Design Certification.

  • Certifications related to Cloud services and optimization.

  • Certification in Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning and Deep Learning.

Languages:

English (Overall - 3 - Advanced)
