Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:
- Support the development implementation and continuous improvement of crane and lifting safety programs
- Conduct hazard assessments critical lift planning and risk analysis for crane operations
- Provide technical expertise to site teams regarding crane setup load charts rigging signaling and safe lifting practices
- Perform site inspections audits and incident investigations specific to crane and lifting operations
- Deliver training and toolbox talks to operators riggers and supervisors on crane safety requirements
- Ensure compliance with all applicable occupational health and safety legislation WorkSafe regulations and CSA/ANSI standards
- Collaborate with project managers site supervisors and subcontractors to drive a strong safety culture
- Track safety metrics prepare reports and recommend corrective actions to reduce risk
Qualifications:
- CRSP CHSC or equivalent professional safety designation (or working toward one)
- Minimum 5 years of health & safety experience in the construction heavy equipment or crane industry
- In-depth knowledge of crane operations rigging practices and applicable regulatory standards
- Experience developing and delivering safety training programs
- Strong analytical problem-solving and incident investigation skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities with a proven track record of influencing safe work practices
Work Conditions:
- This is a site based position
Compensation
$68800 to $94600 annually
This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience knowledge skills education and location.
