About The Job
You will perform service work on equipment that is located at a customer site and you should have insight in the entire value chain from Sales Lead (the first customer contact) until the time when the machine will be de-commissioned and scrapped - the full life cycle.
Job Description
Basic troubleshooting installation maintenance and repair of Alfa Laval equipment i.e. decanters and separators for the Crude Palm Oil industry
Commissioning including checking of equipment installation training of operators in equipment operation maintenance and safety.
Maintaining communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
Perform repair inspection and prepare repair reports.
Conduct test trials including process performance
What You Know
Minimum Diploma in Engineering with equivalent experience in similar field and industry.
At least 3 years working experience
Preferably with good analytical and report writing skills
High degree of initiative
Willing to standby/work during weekends/public holidays.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
Able to work independently with limited supervision in a dynamic environment
Must be willing and able to travel extensively (est. 50% - 70%)
An excellent team player and team builder. Ethical and trustworthy.
Must possess a valid drivers license and own transport.
