The Cloud Application and Platform Group from Nanyang Technological University Singapore is seeking 1 motivated Research Engineer II to assist the Principal Investigator (PI) and research staff in managing research projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and coordinate research activities including collaboration meetings internal group meetings overseas exchanges and business trips (local and oversea travel arrangements).
Oversee procurement activities including raising Purchase Requests Purchase Orders. Track and manage the equipment ownership internally.
Handle reimbursement claims and follow expenditure.
Oversee personnel management and coordination such as recruitment internship programme and new student application processes.
Assist in budget management for research projects ensuring proper allocation and usage of funds.
Maintain the smooth operation of the research group and provide administrative support as needed.
Update the group website/public account ensuring it reflects current and accurate information while adhering to organizational standards.
Job Requirements:
Preferably Bachelors degree in Computer Science Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
Excellent teamwork and verbal written communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle various research tasks effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a research team.
Prior research experience including involvement in research projects or publications is preferred.
