At Vanderlande a global leader in automation solutions for airports warehouses and parcel handling we are transforming our Finance function to become more data-driven efficient and innovative. As a Finance Transformation Intern you will play an active role in projects that focus on process optimization technology enablement and advanced analytics on a global scale.

You will:

  • Analyse and map existing finance processes identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Explore how automation data analytics and digital tools can increase efficiency and control
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across global locations
  • Contribute to process redesigns aligned with our transformation roadmap
  • Gain exposure to tools like ERP data analytics and visualization platforms and process mining

Department description

Your role will be global in scope reporting to the Global Process Owner Record-to-Report in the Global Transformation Office based in Veghel. We value a flexible critical approach with a focus on end-to-end processes deep knowledge and a strong business understanding. The position requires a mix of strategic thinking analytical skills and technical expertise to design and implement solutions that align with the organizations financial objectives.

Tasks/responsibilities

As a Finance Transformation Intern your responsibilities will include:

  • Process Mapping & Analysis: Document finance processes identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyse financial data and create reports using tools like Excel or Power BI.
  • Technology Enablement: Assist in testing and implementing finance tools (e.g. RPA bots workflow tools) and support ERP tasks.
  • Project Support: Help with project planning tracking and coordination of workshops and training.
  • Change & Communication: Assist with communication efforts and prepare materials for stakeholders.
  • Ad Hoc Support: Support finance teams in operations and collaborate on international initiatives.

Your profile

  • Basic understanding of finance principles (e.g. accounting budgeting)
  • Strong interest in technology process improvement and data-driven desicionmaking
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI Tableau or ERP systems (SAP/JD Edwards) is a plus
  • Analytical detail-oriented structured and proactive
  • Excellent communication skilles in English
