Description

Position Summary:

To lead and manage the HR Operations function within the APAC HR Shared Services Centre (HRSS) ensuring delivery of accurate timely and compliant HR services across the Hire-to-Retire lifecycle for the APAC and EMEA regions. This role is responsible for operational leadership financial stewardship process standardization and strategic stakeholder management to support the ongoing growth stability and efficiency of the HRSS.

Scope of Role:

Regional coverage including APAC & EMEA markets.

Direct management of Senior Team Leads and oversight of HR Operations Specialists.

Accountability for operational budget management and resource planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership & Team Management

  1. Lead and develop a high-performing HR Operations team fostering a culture of excellence accountability and continuous improvement.
  2. Drive operational performance by setting clear objectives monitoring KPIs and conducting performance reviews.
  3. Oversee resource planning and capacity management to optimize team efficiency and service delivery.

Financial Management & Budget Oversight

  1. Develop monitor and manage the HR Operations budget in line with organizational targets.
  2. Ensure effective cost control and financial reporting providing regular updates to HRSS leadership.
  3. Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies without compromising service quality.

Service Delivery & Process Governance

  1. Ensure delivery of HR operations services with high accuracy compliance and within agreed SLAs.
  2. Champion process standardization and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce errors.
  3. Oversee risk management activities ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls.

Strategic Stakeholder Engagement & Business Reviews

  1. Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key stakeholders presenting operational performance trends and improvement plans.
  2. Collaborate with HRBPs COEs and business leaders to align HRSS services with organizational goals.
  3. Drive stakeholder satisfaction through proactive communication feedback management and service enhancements.

HRSS Setup & Change Management

  1. Provide leadership in ongoing HRSS transformation initiatives including process redesign system upgrades and regional expansions.
  2. Oversee change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.
  3. Ensure documentation training and knowledge management practices are maintained at the highest standards.

Job Requirements:

Education:Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related discipline.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 8 years experience in HR Shared Services or HR Operations with at least 3 years in managerial role.

Proven expertise in managing operational budgets and financial planning.

Strong knowledge of APAC and EMEA HR statutory and compliance frameworks.

Experience leading business reviews and stakeholder engagement at senior levels.

Proficient in HCM systems (Oracle SuccessFactors) and analytics/reporting tools (Power BI preferred).

Exceptional leadership communication and project management skills.

Languages:

English at least one additional language (Vietnamese / Japanese / Korean / Filipino / Hindi).

  2. Case resolution within SLA: 97%
  3. Employee and stakeholder satisfaction (CSAT/NPS): 4.7 / 5.0
  4. Budget adherence: 3% variance
  5. Process improvement implementation rate: 90% of planned initiatives
  6. Quarterly Business Review completion and action follow-up: 100%
