Join our Technology Team as a Audio Visual and IT User Support Specialist located in our Mexico City office.

This role will be based in our Mexico City office on an in-office basis. This role reports to the IT Manager.

Position Summary

The Audio Visual and IT User Support Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive technology-related consultation and support in both office and conferencing center environments. This role combines the responsibilities of IT user support with the setup and operation of audiovisual systems ensuring seamless technology integration and customer satisfaction. The position requires flexibility to work alternate schedules for special events including evenings weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

IT User Support Responsibilities:

  • Provides support for computer hardware and software maintaining computer hardware asset inventory
  • Oversees system setups breakdowns and office moves
  • Supports mobile devices with a focus on Enterprise Vault email delivery and archiving system
  • Tracks user support requests and system failures escalating complex issues to advanced support teams
  • Performs preventative and routine maintenance and procures miscellaneous technology supplies
  • Assists with the onboarding and separation of staff managing electronic files related to client transfers
  • Collaborates with core IT teams on technology rollouts and projects

Audio Visual Support Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates audio/video calls with vendors other offices and clients
  • Operates and supports audiovisual systems ensuring proficient setup operation and breakdown of equipment
  • Consults on analyzes and configures audiovisual components required for events
  • Manages maintains and troubleshoots audiovisual equipment and components
  • Documents and maintains audiovisual requirements per event and edits video recordings
  • Creates edits and maintains training materials regarding common operations and support issues

Qualifications

Skills & Competencies

  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced high-pressure deadline-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanor and presentation
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Strong customer service skills striving to exceed client expectations
  • Basic understanding of networking devices cabling and associated troubleshooting

Education & Prior Experience

  • High School Diploma is required; Certifications Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Previous experience providing legal technology support is preferred
  • Experience troubleshooting and supporting iOS and Android mobile devices
  • 3 years of audiovisual experience with extensive knowledge of Video Matrix systems and AV Switchers
  • Experience in the following but not limited to is highly recommended:
  • Audio/Digital audio/playback/record systems
  • Video/Digital video/playback/record systems
  • Video Wall Management & Calibration
  • Video editing software
  • Advanced Lighting - Dimming and Lighting Controls
  • Advance knowledge of Wireless Handheld Lavaliere Microphones
  • Push to Talk Systems
  • 4 -24 Channel Mixers
  • Set up of broadcast cameras
  • Basic Electrical and Power Distribution
  • IP Addressing knowledge
  • Switches and basic networking skills
  • Wireless Networking/Troubleshooting
  • Standard troubleshooting skills related to desktop computer hardware and software

Technology

  • Significant knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft O365 Pro
  • Knowledge of Zoom and Teams Admin Portal and standard troubleshooting skills related to desktop computer hardware and software
  • Advanced knowledge of Crestron Toolbox/ XIO/ Biamp/ QSYS/ Shure Software
