Job Description
Public Kitchen and Bar Finz Seafood and Grill and Bella Cucinaare three magnificent restaurants inQueenstowncollectively known as Wai Hospitality Group.
Bella Cucina is looking for a full-time Pizza Chef who has experience with a woodfired oven. Everything is made from scratch with love. The ideal candidate will be a true team player a chef who likes to be busy in a fast-paced environment who genuinely cares and wants to join an amazing team to deliver memorable experiences for the guests.
Pizza Chef tasks and responsibilities
- Preparing cooking and presenting dishes as per the restaurants standards.
- Monitoring portion and waste control and correct storage of goods to help maintain profit margins.
- Organisation and control of the pizza section.
- Communication with other kitchen staff and the restaurant team.
- Contributing to daily menu planning and costing
- Using cost control programs
- Prep lists deliveries cleanliness.
- Compliance with FCP and Health and Safety
- Minimum of 3-years experience in kitchens or formal qualification with 1 year kitchen experience.
- $29.66 per hour
- Rostered day and evening shifts Monday to Sunday

Applicants should be able to commit to a minimum of 12 months and be a New Zealand citizen/resident or hold a valid work visa. We are however an Accredited Employer and can offer Visa support if required.
