What Youll Do:
As a Senior Software Engineer youll play a key role in developing and maintaining the Validaide platform a critical tool used by pharmaceutical companies and logistics providers worldwide. You will:
- Design develop and maintain backend features in the Validaide platform
- Own and improve services tools and processes to ensure operational excellence
- Collaborate with QA product owners and fellow developers to deliver secure and maintainable features
- Write clean well-documented code and participate in code reviews
- Develop and maintain automated tests using PHPUnit and Behat
- Create and update technical documentation for new and existing systems
- Optimise performance and scalability of the application
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and EU GMP Annex 11
Requirements
What Youll Bring:
- 6 years of experience in software development
- Strong programming skills in PHP and Symfony with solid MySQL knowledge
- Experience working in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments
- Familiarity with frontend technologies (Twig vanilla JS jQuery)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) deployment tools (Ansible) and test automation (Behat)
- Comfortable working in English and collaborating across teams
- Interest in contributing to meaningful work in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry
- Willingness to learn new technologies (e.g. Java/Spring Boot )
- Based in the Netherlands and open to long-term growth with the team
