This is a very exciting opportunity since you will continue to build starting from a solid foundation improving whats there and taking it to the next level. At Fastned were scaling fast and with that growth comes the exciting challenge of setting up a future-proof distribution and inventory operation across Europe. Were looking for someone who doesnt just manage processes but takes ownership shapes systems and thrives in the complexity of building.
The Role
Youll take ownership of our European parts distribution and shape the systems that support Fastneds growing network. From day one your focus will be on creating structure accuracy and efficiency across multiple locations making sure stock levels are where they need to be obsolete parts dont linger and every movement in and out of our warehouses is accounted for.
Youll set up reliable processes for inventory depletion and lead regular audits cycle counts and reconciliations to ensure our data is solid and our financial reporting sharp. But its not just about whats in storage its about how it moves. Responsible for our logistics operation youll take care of our inbound and outbound shipments to warehousing and transport across Europe. And collaborate with teams like operations and maintenance to make sure the right parts are in the right place right when theyre needed.
As we scale youll also identify and manage the right third-party logistics partners negotiating strong relationships to support our momentum. Throughout all of this continuous improvement will be key whether its streamlining existing workflows setting up smarter SOPs or implementing systems that boost inventory accuracy and transparency.

This role is perfect for you if youre proactive solutions-driven and thrive in high-growth constantly evolving environments. You wont just follow existing processes youll get energy from taking ownership improving whats already there and building new structures from the ground up. You enjoy bringing order to complexity making things run smoothly and leaving a lasting impact as Fastned continues to scale.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or a related field. APICS certification is a plus.
Proven experience (5-7 years) in parts distribution inventory management and logistics preferably within a fast-paced and growing organization.
Demonstrated expertise in implementing inventory asset management best practices.
Strong understanding of inventory control principles warehouse operations and supply chain optimization.
Experience with ERP systems and inventory management software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Fluency in English; additional European languages (e.g. Dutch German French) are a plus.
Willingness to travel periodically across Europe.
