OVERALL PURPOSE:
Manages the day-to-day operations of the distribution center to deliver excellent customer service at most effective cost.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
I. PEOPLE:
- Motivates and train people to do their best
- Conducts monthly meeting with checkers operators & casuals
- Monitors warehouse employees attendance
- Implements disciplinary actions to employees
- Coordinates with HR for employee concerns
- Orients checker operator & casual on company policies and job description
- Conducts annual checker performance review
- Gives regular coaching to employees on efficiency and productivity
- Identify & recommend employees with skills for regularization operator or checker position
- Timely submits monthly incentive report to VP Distribution & Admin
II. PROCESS:
- Conducts monthly inventory
- Maintains stock damage level at controllable cost
- Updates fixed item location quarterly based on ABC classification
- Implements FIFO method & reports near expired products to purchasing
- Accountable for all assets assigned to Distribution Department
- Supervises B.O. activities with compliance of our B.O. policy
- Constantly gives suggestions and ideas to improve work processes
- Plans and maximizes the effective use of space equipment and labor
- Plans and submits to AVP Distribution personnel and equipment requirements in Distribution Center according to business forecast
III. BUSINESS:
- Attends to customer & suppliers queries and complaints
- Coordinates with other departments on concerns/complaints
- Reports customer and supplier issues to VP Distribution & Admin
- Partakes on any project team assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College graduate of any degree
- Minimum of 5-year experience working in a distribution supply chain or logics business
- Highly adaptable
- Possesses ability to learn and multi-task among varied related and non-related business tasks/processes.
