Job Description
Are you passionate about driving quality in electronic manufacturing At Resideo were looking for aQuality Engineering Supervisor to drive our efforts in ensuring the highest standards across our electronic products and components.
In this dynamic dual-purpose role youll combine the responsibilities of aQuality Supervisorand aSenior Quality Engineer. Youll lead a dedicated team of engineers and technicians focused on resolving production quality issues tackling critical failures and maintaining performance against key site metrics. Youll also play a pivotal role in supporting new product introductions (NPI) overseeing internal audits and driving continuous process improvement.
Were looking for someone with hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing and a strong command of quality tools and methodologies such asFMEA 8D control plans MSA and PPAP.

JOB DUTIES:
- Oversees the production process (from material receiving to products shipping) and ensures that gaps to the quality management system requirements are highlighted and resolved by the responsible department.
- Is responsible to ensure that the data collection data analysis and requested feedback to support continuous improvement (to quality system quality in production processes etc.) is gathered in time and as requested.
- Ensures that the quality engineers make the right operative decisions related to quality of components subassembly and final products to meet Resideos specifications and customers expectations.
- Ensures that the data generated recorded and maintained by the team and important for quality metrics reporting is done on time and accurately
- Ensures that the root cause analysis and preparation of corrective/preventive actions (RPS 8D reports) realised by the quality engineers in cooperation with other departments is done in such a way that respects the established procedures and results in problems not repeating
- Whenever a customer claim or internal quality issue requires it the Quality Engineering Supervisor is responsible to perform the risk analysis together with the quality process supplier quality engineers and any other function needed.
- Ensures that the records to be kept in the quality management system (QMS) under responsibility of the quality engineers technicians are performed accurately and kept in the required conditions
- Ensures that the communication between the quality engineers and the customer quality and customer care co-workers is efficient delivers results which end in the customer satisfaction and protection whenever a quality issue arises
- Ensures that the quality issues created by the components from suppliers are solved according to the specified rules makes the appropriate decisions to protect the assembly processes thus the customers from receiving defective components
- Participates in the implementation of the Quality Management System and highlights any deviations between the processes and the procedures defined ensuring that those deviations are communicated in time to the management team for immediate and appropriate correction
- Ensures that the coordination of the team is efficient to keep the RMA process (return material authorisation) consistently meeting the defined targets the required feedback from the analysis done is properly analysed and communicated to the operation teams so that the appropriate corrective and preventive actions are put in place to avoid repetitive claims prevent claims from happening and reduce in that way the customer PPM levels.
- Respects and follows all requirements coming from integrated management system of the company related to his working activity so that all proceeding activities meet these standards
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Proven experience in quality engineering within an electronic production environment
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies includingFMEA 8D control plans MSA and PPAP
- Ability tocoach mentor and inspireteam members
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularlyExcel
- Fluent Czechlanguage skills
