US Farathane is seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor. This position needs to focus on all quality aspects from part quality processes being followed on production floor. Must be driven and accountable.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manage/Supervise Quality Team Quality Inspectors / Quality Zone Leaders /Quality Auditors regarding performance quality discipline.
- Work closely with Production Supervisors Quality Engineers and Quality Manager to track and report on daily quality related issues that occur on the production floor. Shift summary
- Ensure all quality policies and procedures are followed on the production floor. Owner of this responsibility
- Monitor new hires in the quality department to assist with evaluations/Training/ accountability.
- Performs visual inspections of parts and understands part function. Contact Quality Inspector/Shift Supervisor if parts are found to be bad.
- Must understand all secondaries for new launch and current jobs. Proper reset method
- Assist with training of operators on all New Launch/current production jobs.
- Works with Operators on what is a good part and what is a bad part.
- Making sure that all operator instructions packaging instructions first shot and visual standard boards or pictures are at the press at the start of each shift. Including 6S requirements
- Verifies operator instructions/packaging instructions give clear direction.
- Verifies work cell layouts are set up correctly.
- Report of any performance issues of operators to Shift Supervisor.
- Report any scrap/quality concerns.
- Review Operators scrap and that it is being recorded on Daily Production sheet and China marked in defect location.
- Document any assembly equipment fixture issues.
- Report any safety issues immediately to Shift Supervisor
- Assist in containing any suspect product that may have been made.
- Communicate all known or potential quality issues to Operators. Making sure Operators have signed off on Internal Deviations and Quality Alerts along with training req.
- Assure counters on secondary are correct. Explain to operators the importance of counters and reaction plan if off. Audit counters to confirm compliance every day
- Assists Quality Inspectors with Startup/Restart Verification Audits.
- Ensure inspectors are following quality control plan.
- Verifies parts on Audit list are being audited.
- Dock audits of quality of finished goods parts including shipping labels finger labels if applicable and LPA
- Reviews Hold Area that product is being properly identified product is being dispositioned in timely manner.
- Provide any feedback of improvements that can be made.
- Complete a detailed shift run down.
- Environmental Responsibilities- Cooperation with action team directives. Familiar with evacuation plans. Trained in clean-up modules. Familiar with environmental plant postings.
- Supervisory Responsibilities- In the event that this position becomes vacant the Quality Manager will resume responsibilities.
- Assist with 1st pieces approval if needed to avoid start up delays
- Assist operators that are behind Shut downs should be last resort
- Audit daily to ensure zone leader is following labeling procedures
Qualifications:

- Education and/or Experience- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
