Job Description
Responsibilities:
Trade Planning & Strategy
- Develop and implement trade planning strategies aligned with business goals for all product categories.
- Analyze market data and consumer insights to create a comprehensive assortment plan balancing product quantities and pricing to meet financial objectives.
- Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to ensure trade plans align with merchandising strategies.
Promotions & Commercial Campaigns
- Lead the development of trade promotional strategies for key customers and channels driving category growth.
- Partner with marketing and business intelligence teams to craft and execute commercial campaigns that boost sales performance.
- Monitor the success of trade promotions and marketing investments making adjustments to maximize ROI.
- Ensure trade marketing initiatives reflect consumer trends and are executed effectively at the store level.
Product Assortment & Merchandising
- Define and finalize assortment plans based on market insights and customer feedback.
- Oversee the development of promotional programs designed to enhance product sales.
- Collaborate with business intelligence teams to analyze campaign results and generate actionable insights for future initiatives.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
- Track analyze and report on trade campaign performance product assortment effectiveness and promotional ROI.
- Continuously optimize trade planning strategies based on sales data market trends and customer feedback.
- Ensure that trade initiatives are executed in alignment with broader business strategies and revenue targets.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in trade marketing or category management (FMCG or Retail experience preferred).
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to turn insights into actionable business strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage stakeholders across departments.
- Proven track record in managing trade promotions developing campaigns and driving revenue growth.
- Highly organized detail-oriented and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative problem solver with a data-driven approach to optimizing trade performance.
