Customer Program Manager IDS

About the team
You will be in charge of the end to end project team that manage customer programs. The team exist of around 25 persons they are specialist in airborne and industrial systems and is imbedded in Thales Netherland with 3000 employees.

IDS is a Core segment within the Segment Services. As Customer program manager you are member of the IDS core team contributing to growth.

About your future job:
The turnover of the IDS organization is doubled in the last 2 years.

It is expected that this strong growth will be maintained in the coming years. Especially in the current fast changing world the necessity of new programs and expanding the network beyond our mainly US customers makes it more important to have experienced Program Manager for the long term.

As Customer program manager you are the driving force in guiding your end to end team to execute customer programs within time quality and budget.

Our projects deliver high tech technical products manufactured and designed in Hengelo. You and our team are based in Hengelo

Your core activities will consist of:

Manage our US customers and maintain customer intimacy
Organize and manage our supply chain
Maintain our product baselines
Ensure long-term product sustainability
Initiate projects to increase the product producibility maturity MRL levels
Data driven reporting
Execute active Risk and Opportunity Product Management

Why youd be a good match

Have relevant experience in an industrial environment
Has Knowledge about Electronics and or mechanics
Understands the sourcing challenges to subcontractors for high tech products
You are prepared to travel (approx. 3 to 4 times a year) to the United States and other countries if needed
Experience in the fields of Defense industry and Aerospace is an advantage
Education preferable combination of Business Administration and Technology HBO or University levels
Understanding Engineering principles
Minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar working environment Fluent in English
