The Global Logistics team is looking for a candidate for the Cross-Border Transportation Network Operation Center (X-NOC) Specialist position in Tokyo Japan. This role understands Amazons Inbound Network and partners with regional internal and external partners and stakeholders to execute daily inbound operations to drive speed accuracy and efficiency in B2B cross-border transportation across the Globe. As a part of the Import operations team they will partake in the daily process improvement initiatives to drive productivity.
Knowledge of the overall import Process in Japan regional Destination Freight movement Customs Clearance and Inland Destination transportation (Drayage) is a key strength for the ideal candidate.
This role will include the following:
Manage Shipment Order-to-Arrival of Air/Ocean/Ground B2B import shipments from origin facilities (mainly in China and the US) to Amazon Facilities in Japan.
Manage Shipment Order-to-Arrival of Air/Ocean B2B export shipments from Amazon Facilities in the US/EU to Japan.
Stakeholder/Partner Communications

Escalation Management
Reporting Creation and Distribution
Kaizen activities in day-to-day operations
Investigate causes of problems and collaborate with related partners to rectify them.
X-NOC
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g. pivot tables & charts multiple criteria lookups nested logical/IF formulas data cleansing array formulas etc.)
- Experience in program management logistics operations supply chain transportation or equivalent
- Proficiency in both English and Japanese required
- 1 years of program management logistics operations supply chain transportation or equivalent experience
- Bachelors degree
- Experience with SQL
