Job Description
Maybury is growing and looking for a Parts Shipping and Receiving Associate. In this hands-on position you will work as part of the team to support a variety of functions in our Parts Department.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Unpacks and examines incoming parts shipments and vendor stock orders; verifies information against bill of lading packaging lists; records damages or shortages.
- Accurately and promptly pulls purchased parts from stock to fill orders shipments consignments van inventories etc.
- Prepares packages for shipment including determining the best shipping method and weighing labeling and affixing postages.
- Operates powered material handling equipment to move shipments from the shipping and receiving area to work or storage areas.
- May press tires as well as deliver parts to customers and other Maybury locations as needed.
- Updates work order system to notify Service Department team members as to the status of their parts order and when requested items are received.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED and at least 3 months of related experience required.
- Knowledge of Windows and intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word Excel and Outlook) Experience with GP Dynamics a plus.
- Strong attention to detail as well as customer service and organizational skills required.
- Valid drivers license and good driving history is required.
- Must be able to frequently lift or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs.
