Bike Mobility Services Group (BMS) is looking for a Business Development Manager with a sharp strategic mind and a proactive approach to execution. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping and accelerating our international growth with a special emphasis on shareholder governance and supervisory board coordination.
BMS currently operates in 10 entities across 7 countries and continues to expand rapidly. This dynamic environment offers you a unique opportunity to grow personally and professionally while contributing to the strategic agenda of one of Europes most exciting players in sustainable mobility.
As Business Development Manager you will be a key contributor to the formulation and execution of BMSs strategic roadmap. You will work closely with the Director Business Development and our international leadership team to drive critical cross-functional initiatives that influence both our local entities and global structure.
A central aspect of your role will be coordinating the governance of our joint venture between Pon Holdings and Volkswagen AG ensuring effective preparation communication and follow-up for supervisory board meetings and other key shareholder-related activities. Your ability to manage these high-level interactions with precision and confidence will be essential.
In addition you will:
Identify and lead strategic projects that support our international growth.
Serve as a key liaison in supervisory board governance including board preparation and alignment with shareholder expectations.
Guide our operating companies on local strategic initiatives and changes.
Support our M&A efforts international expansion plans and strategic partnerships (financial commercial etc.).
Lead cross-functional project teams and ensure timely fact-based decision-making and execution.
Travel 1030% within Europe to align with local teams and stakeholders.
A Masters degree in Business Administration or a related field.
35 years of international experience in strategic and hands-on roles ideally within a corporate mobility or joint venture context.
A strong interest or background in strategy and corporate governance paired with a strong conceptual and strategic skill-and mindset.
Business fluency in English with additional fluency in Dutch and/or German highly valued.
Strong project management capabilities and cross-functional leadership experience.
A structured and fact-based approach to complex decision-making.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills especially in high-stakes or C-level environments.
Comfort managing diverse multi-country stakeholders.
A motivated and collaborative personality with a bias for action.
