Verisure Denmark is seeking a talented Privacy Specialist & AI Officer with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for Compliance and Innovation to join our growing and successful Danish business. The Privacy Specialist & AI Officer will be a member of the Danish and Nordic legal team with close cooperation between the team colleagues in Sweden Norway Denmark and Finland. The role is based in Copenhagen.
The successful candidate will thrive in a fast pace agile international and entrepreneurial business environment and will be a key player and work closely with the teams across primarily the Danish business functions. The role offers an opportunity to develop as the business grows anditis an exciting opportunity for a Privacy & AI Specialist to deliver value from day one through innovative and leading-edge legal thinking in building trust with customers and key stakeholders for sustainable business growth.
Responsibilities
You will support in all local privacy areas as well as the commercial business. Scope of responsibilities may develop and be extended depending on your current qualifications and foresee that your current responsibilities will include:
Advising in a wide range of GDPR and compliance areas across the business with focus on following
- Design drive and implement and improve GDPR and compliance programs and processes.
- Management of Data-processing agreements and audits.
- HandlingData protectionagency cases Data breaches andSARS.
- Art 30 and one trust operation.
- Monitor key regulatory and legal trends relevant for the business.
- Planning implementing and conductingcompliance trainingto the business units.
- Support on Product compliance and product launches related to GDPR.
- Ad hoc matters related to GDPR and compliance.
- Coordinate all AI related topics in the Danish operation.
- Depending on local business needs from time to time additional legal support primarily in the areas of consumer andmarketinglaw.

Candidate profile
The role is expected to deliver impact quickly and the right candidate will have the opportunity to develop as the business an exciting opportunity for a privacy specialist to deliver value through innovative and leading-edge legal thinking impactful regulatory advocacy and leadership in building trust with customers and key stakeholders for sustainable business growth.
The ideal candidate will likely have at least 2 years of experience in an international organization. While experience is certainly a valuable asset and will be appreciated the right mindset is even more important than a certain number of years worked!
Experiences and Qualifications
- Masters degree with some years of relevant professional experience ideally with a deep understanding of both the European and international legal privacy landscape product technologyIT AI data & analytics.
- Have a proven track record of having a strong positive impact on privacy maturity in a consumer facing technology-based company.
- Demonstrated experience of critically analyzing existing and forthcoming regulation to understand and anticipate possible impact on Company products services and business operations.
- Strong track record of impactful project management drafting and presentation.
- Fluency in Danish and English language.
