Job Description

Job Summary

The Sr Dir Sales is responsible for developing and executing long term business strategies to achieve the UCTs revenue and market share objectives. This role involves identifying new area of business opportunities establishing partnerships and fostering relationships with potentially high converting customers in the semiconductor and pan-semiconductor equipment manufacturer space. To be successful as a director of business development the candidate should be persuasive and have strong business acumen. Ultimately an exceptional director of business development should be adept at negotiating sound business deals as well as demonstrate excellent communication leadership and problem-solving skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Market research and analysis

  • Conduct market research to identify trends competitor activities and potential opportunities in the semiconductor or pan-semiconductor equipment industry in China
  • Analyze market data to develop insights and strategies for new Chinese OEM business
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for the executive team outlining business development activities progress and challenges

Business strategy development

  • Identify and prioritize key business segments and customer profiles in line with UCT domain capabilities
  • Develop and implement business development strategies and plans to achieve UCT goals for China for China strategy

  • Collaborate with the executive team to align business development strategies with overall UCTs objectives
  • Conduct data analysis to measure the effectiveness of various initiatives and make data-driven decisions

Product development and improvement

  • Gather customer feedback and market insights to contribute to product development and improvement efforts
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to align product offerings with market demands

Sales process management & forecasting

  • Develop and oversee initial sales initiatives to drive revenue growth for target new customers
  • Set forecasted new Chinese customer onboarding targets monitor performance and implement strategies to achieve or exceed goals
  • Work closely with the NPI and sales team to provide necessary support and resources to bring new customer to high volume manufacturing

Educational/Certification Requirement:

  • Tertiary Degree preferably in Engineering. MBA desirable.

Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum 10 years of semiconductor and/or microelectronics industry experience with a strong emphasis in product development business development and customer management
  • Proven experience in semiconductor equipment product development or business development preferably in a leadership role
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop actionable plans
  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Abilitytoworkinafast-pacedenvironment
  • A strong team player

Travel Requirement:

  • Ability to travel on an as-needed basis.
