Whats the role
Youll be at the forefront of Westpacs engagement with some of the most high-performing Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) in the market; asset managers super funds and global investors. Based in Sydney this full-time role sits within our Institutional Banks Financial Institutions & Government (FIG) industry team and offers the opportunity to lead strategic conversations originate new business and build meaningful relationships across a diverse client portfolio.
Youll work closely with product specialists and global teams to deliver tailored financial solutions drive industry insights and ensure Westpacs capabilities are front and centre. If you thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment and enjoy connecting strategy with execution this is your chance to make a real impact.
What do I need
To thrive in this role youll bring a mix of relationship-building finesse financial acumen and a collaborative mindset. Heres what will help you succeed:
- Proven ability to build grow and manage relationships with financial sponsors and institutional investors.
- Strong experience in corporate and structured debt with a solid understanding of credit risk management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the confidence to engage at senior levels.
- High level of numeracy and comfort navigating complex financial systems and data.
- A team-first attitude and the ability to work effectively across global teams and product areas.
