Position Details
- Position Title: Health and Wellness Director
- Location: Redwood CA
- Experience: Senior Living experience highly preferred
- Licenses: Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- Compensation: $110000- $130000 per year depending on experience

Qualifications
- Must be a current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensed
- Minimum 23 years of experience in senior living assisted living memory care or skilled nursing; leadership experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage coach and develop clinical and caregiving staff
- Strong knowledge of California Title 22 regulations resident rights and compliance standards
- Skilled in conducting resident assessments and developing service/care plans
- Excellent communication skills with residents families staff and physicians
- Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and digital care documentation systems
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all health and wellness programs within the senior living community
- Ensure compliance with California Department of Social Services (CDSS) licensing requirements
- Conduct initial and ongoing resident health assessments; develop and update service plans as needed
- Hire train schedule and mentor caregiving and nursing staff ensuring adherence to care standards
- Collaborate with physicians families and interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident health and quality of life
- Monitor care delivery staff performance and documentation to maintain high-quality outcomes
- Serve as the primary clinical leader promoting a culture of safety accountability and compassion
