Databricks is at the forefront of the Unified Data Analytics field where innovation is key to providing our clients with a competitive edge in todays fast-paced business landscape.
We are looking for a Business Development Representative - Gen AI Product to help drive broader adoption of Databricks GenAI capabilities across the APJ region. Collaborating with account and cross-functional teams this role sits at the intersection of technical sales expertise and sales program strategy.
If youre a results-oriented sales professional with a track record in similar roles aiming to contribute to the expansion of a transformative enterprise software company and propel your career this role is for you. Reporting to the Director of Sales Development APJ and executing as part of the Gen AI specialist team youll play a pivotal role in this journey.

The impact you will have:

  • Be a subject matter expert and point of contact for sales teams in staying current with Databricks Gen AI product innovation and market landscape intelligence
  • Identify and uncover client requirements progressing discussions into sales prospects by demonstrating how Databricks can address their AI data-related challenges
  • Devise compelling sales campaigns targeting diverse buyer levels including senior executives to unlock AI opportunities in critical target accounts
  • Collaborate with Databricks Gen AI Partner Ecosystem to scale
  • Support and execute internal and external Gen AI enablement programs

What we look for:

  • 2 years of experience in partner development business development or pipeline operations within a B2B tech company
  • Previous experience in selling Gen AI technologies is advantageous
  • Proficiency in comprehending technical concepts coupled with genuine enthusiasm for technology and passion for AI
  • Expertise in leveraging sales tools such as and Salesforce
  • Strategic analytical capabilities to ascertain key business insights
  • Demonstrated history of consistent quantifiable achievements in previous roles.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to continually learn and stay abreast of developments in the big data/AI sector
  • Self-motivated team player with a strong sense of ownership accountability collaboration and executes with urgency
