DescriptionAs the Head of Engineering at Procornea part of CooperVision Specialty EyeCare Division you will be responsible for leading and managing the engineering function. You will support the site Leadership Team in executing activities aligned with annual objectives and the Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP). You will provide technical management and leadership guiding the engineering team on site-specific projects and daily activities related to contact lens manufacturing.

- Lead and support Procorneas engineering team in technical projects and activities related to contact lens manufacturing.
- Draft and approve the annual engineering plan and LRSP in collaboration with Operations Leadership and Global Engineering Leadership.
- Guide and mentor the engineering team in executing major process improvement projects technology development and daily engineering activities.
- Ensure daily engineering activities are organized and prioritized to meet production and quality targets.
- Manage engineering projects according to local and global procedures and best practices ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Implement strategies and processes to achieve business objectives and enhance the companys competitive position.
- Identify and implement best practices for the engineering team to improve business operations and align with Procornea and global LRSP.
- Foster strong communication and collaboration across departments such as Operations Quality Assurance Regulatory Commercial and Professional Affairs.
- Provide leadership in coaching mentoring and developing direct reports to achieve continuous improvement added value and cost reductions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental health and safety engineering quality and regulatory standards.
- Knowledge of validation in the medical devices industry (IQ/OQ/PQ).

Employment Conditions
- Salary Range: Full-time annual salary including vacation pay: 70000 - 100000.
- Bonus: Participation in the MIP scheme (10%).
- Travel Expenses: Reimbursement of 0.21 per kilometer provided you live more than 10 km from the work location.
