General Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Being responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining Data Communication and Access Network equipment (Router Switch DSLAM/OLT).
- Coordinating with internal teams and/or partners to resolve issues related to Data Communication or Access Networks.
- Maintaining and updating data on the running status and stability of Data Communication or Access Networks.
- Supporting and/or consulting customers on Data Communication and Access Network products/network troubleshooting.
Candidate Requirements:
- Thai nationality.
- Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Telecommunication Electronics Computer Engineering or related fields.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in implementing and maintaining Data Communication or Access Network products (Router/Switch/DSLAM/OLT/AN&DC).
- Basic knowledge of Data Communication technologies TCP/IP Networking and Network Protocols such as TCP/IP SNMP VLAN routing protocols and MPLS.
- Basic knowledge of Fixed Access Network technologies such as xDSL ATM and GPON.
- Basic knowledge of mobile backhaul network architecture.
- Good command of both spoken and written English.
- Computer literacy (MS Word Excel PowerPoint Visio).
- Ability to travel upcountry for short periods (onsite troubleshooting).
- Ability to work extra hours (overnight work emergency network recovery etc.).
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
- Willingness to work extra hours (overnight work emergency network recovery etc.) and be on call 24/7.
