We have a vacancy for an Identity and Access (IDAM) Manager based within our Business Support Team function.
The team is responsible for the successful operational delivery of IDAM Products and Services. This includes the management of Identities of CBS colleague and provision of solutions to support third party access to CBS resources.
Reporting to the Senior Service Operations Manager the successful candidate will own the development and operation of Identity and Access management products and services across the building society. You will work cross functionally with senior stakeholders and business colleagues to define and implement how the service responds to the strategic needs of the Society and to implement new functionality which supports the building society through its inflight strategic transformation project.
This will be a fixed term contract position for a period of 12 months.

What will you be doing
As the IDAM Manager you will influence and lead the development of a clear strategy vision and roadmap for Identity and Access Management (IDAM) at the Cumberland. Your focus will be on delivering secure effective solutions that support both day-to-day operations and long-term business goals that comply with the required security regulations..
You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation to align IDAM services with strategic priorities manage delivery through agile product practices and ensure the right outcomes are achieved. This includes building and managing a product backlog prioritising initiatives and ensuring IDAM services evolve to meet the Cumberlands needs.
Strong communication leadership and stakeholder engagement skills are essential as you will guide the development of the IDAM function within IT Services. You will also support wider programmes by aligning IDAM initiatives and offering expert consultancy to help deliver consistent secure identity services across the organisation.
This role offers the opportunity to shape how product-led thinking can build sustainable high-impact services in a small but ambitious financial institution.

Youll have proven experience in building implementing or managing Identity and Access Management (IDAM) solutions within a regulated environment with demonstrated leadership of an identity or access management function including managing virtual and cross-functional teams using agile methodologies.
