To succeed in this role you must have a deep understanding of the IT landscape strong sales and negotiation skills and the ability to influence and persuade candidates effectively. Your experience in cultivating long-term relationships with candidates and attending networking events will contribute to building a high-quality pipeline. Additionally your proficiency in constructing Boolean search strings will expedite focused candidate discovery enabling you to deliver outstanding results in record time.

Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to attract and acquire IT professionals in Latin America aligned with the companys growth objectives.

Candidate Sourcing and Engagement: Utilize a variety of sourcing techniques such as job boards social media platforms professional networks referrals and direct sourcing to identify potential candidates.

Candidate Screening and Assessment: Conduct thorough candidate screening including resume reviews phone interviews and competency-based assessments to evaluate their skills experience and cultural fit.

Candidate Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential candidates ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Pipeline Development: Create and maintain a vast network of passive and active candidates for current and future hiring needs continuously expanding the talent pool.

Collaborative Hiring Process: Partner with hiring managers and other stakeholders to understand position requirements advise on market trends and drive the recruitment process to ensure timely and efficient hiring decisions.

Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends salary benchmarks and regional labor markets to provide insights and recommendations for attracting top talent.

Reporting and Metrics: Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies identify areas for improvement and provide regular reports to management.

Qualifications (Must Have):

  • Proven track record (5 years) as an IT Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist with a focus on the Latin American market.
  • Deep understanding of IT roles technologies and market trends including software development cybersecurity cloud computing data analytics and infrastructure.
  • A robust network of IT professionals in Latin America with a strong emphasis on passive candidate engagement building and maintaining a quality pipeline of candidates through proactive networking relationship building and effective communication.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade candidates.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English.
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
  • Proficient in constructing Boolean search strings to expedite focused candidate discovery.
  • Ability to adapt search strategies based on changing requirements and candidate profiles.
  • Experience utilizing advanced search techniques and Boolean operators (AND OR NOT parentheses quotes etc.) to refine search queries and uncover highly relevant candidates.
  • Familiarity with various job boards professional networking sites and online databases.
  • Strong attention to detail in maintaining data accuracy including candidate profiles resumes contact information and progress notes.
  • Proven ability to identify and attend networking activities such as career fairs industry conferences professional association meetings and other relevant events to expand the candidate network and promote the companys brand.
  • Experience reaching out to technical schools universities and outplacement services to establish connections and develop partnerships for candidate sourcing.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
  • Proactive and resourceful mindset with the ability to think creatively and adapt sourcing strategies to meet challenging hiring demands.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks meet deadlines and handle multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive in staying updated on industry trends emerging technologies and market insights to stay ahead in the competitive talent acquisition landscape.
