What to Expect

The Facilities Building Maintenance Lead will be responsible for coordinating and leading building maintenance tasks ensuring the companys facilities are well-cared for and adequately maintained. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and a solid background in building maintenance including electrical plumbing HVAC systems and general repairs.

On a daily basis our Building Maintenance Lead:

• Oversee daily maintenance of the building including scheduled and ad hoc repair tasks

• Evaluate repair and maintain plumbing electrical and HVAC systems in the buildings.

• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to determine areas that need attention and coordinate maintenance efforts accordingly.

• Provide upkeep and maintain a safe working environment by performing general repairs of doors walls fixtures ect.

• Perform minor electrical maintenance to include but not limited to replacement or repair of fixtures using hand power and specialty tools.

• Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices company policies and compliance with safety regulations.

• Coordinate with the Facilities Manager on projects deadlines and repairs.

• Keep clear and accurate records of maintenance work inspections and inventory.

• Always maintain corporate safety policies and procedures

• Inspect fire pump and fire extinguishers from time to time.

• Any other duties as assigned

What You Will Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in building maintenance preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years experience in building maintenance or facilities management.

• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC electrical plumbing) and grounds maintenance.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• Proficient in using tools and maintenance equipment.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules operating/maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

• Flexibility to be on-call for emergencies outside of standard working hours.
