Position Summary:
The Equity Alliance is seeking a driven mission-minded Social Media & Digital Engagement Coordinator to amplify our advocacy efforts online. This is a contract-to-hire position meaning the selected candidate will begin on a contract basis with the intention to transition into a permanent staff role after a successful initial period.
As the pulse of our digital community youll craft day-to-day content live-post events and collaborate closely with internal departments to keep our followers informed inspired and ready to act. Youll bring our campaigns to life through storytelling across platforms in ways that resonate with Black communities and beyond.

This role will start as a contract position for 3 months. Upon successful performance and mutual agreement the position will transition into a permanent full-time role with The Equity Alliance. This arrangement allows both the organization and the candidate to ensure a strong fit before making a long-term commitment.
You will be expected to be available at least 30 hours per week and present at all mandated meetings.
Compensation
$2500 for contract position. Full-time salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
If hired TEA provides a very generous benefits package including health dental vision and life insurance. Unlimited PTO paid family leave and a generous holiday schedule including Juneteenth and the last week of December.
Full-time staff work a hybrid schedule with office hours on Tuesday Wednesday and Friday.
