Our client is a leading Solar PV company committed to maintaining the highest standards of health safety and environmental practices across all operations.
Currently they are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to oversee all health safety and environmental aspects. The ideal candidate will be ensuring regulatory compliance implementing best practices and fostering a safety-first culture while supporting sustainability commitments.
Responsibilities:
Solar PV Projects HSE Management
- Designing and implementing comprehensive HSE policies aligned with ISO 45001 ISO 14001 and local regulations.
- Performing regular risk assessments safety audits and site inspections across construction and operational sites.
- Creating and delivering specialized HSE training programs covering electrical hazards working at heights and emergency response.
- Overseeing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and ensuring compliance with investor ESG requirements.
Crisis & Emergency Management
- Establishing comprehensive crisis response protocols for all company locations.
- Providing specialized training for fire hazards extreme weather events and workplace injuries.
- Developing and maintaining business continuity plans to minimize operational disruptions.
- Building and maintaining relationships with local emergency responders and regulatory agencies.
Regulatory Affairs & Stakeholder Management
- Serving as the primary point of contact with government agencies and regulatory bodies.
- Securing and maintaining all necessary permits licenses and environmental approvals.
- Aligning company sustainability practices with investor ESG expectations and global standards.
- Contributing to ESG reporting and sustainability disclosures for investors and stakeholders.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Building and maintaining comprehensive HSE and ESG data tracking systems.
- Preparing detailed performance reports for leadership and investors.
- Conducting regular audits and risk analyses to enhance overall HSE performance.
- Ensuring transparent and accurate reporting in alignment with all requirements.
Qualifications:
- Having extensive experience in HSE management preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Possessing strong knowledge of international HSE standards and local Thai regulations.
- Demonstrating a proven track record in developing and implementing HSE programs.
- Exhibiting excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Being proficient in English.
- Showing the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
- Holding certification in relevant HSE disciplines (preferred).
