Job Description

PRTR is helping our client hire an IT Manager to lead a team of 4-5 staff members in supporting business operations.

The role requires working closely with the global team to implement top-down IT strategies and policies at the Thailand office. Relevant experience in the banking industry or capital markets will be given preference.

Responsibilities:

Managing the IT team including IT Operations and IT Security to support business operations.
Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure all processes and procedures meet security standards.
Acting as a key point of contact with local regulators for IT compliance and aligning IT risk management.
Reviewing and conducting tests for disaster recovery and business continuity plans as needed.
Working closely with the Operations team to provide back-office support.
Engaging with the Regional IT team to align local IT strategies and direction with global initiatives.

Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years of experience in Infrastructure and IT Operations (Server Network and Telephony systems).
Knowledge of ISO 27001 and its use as a best practice for IT operations.
In-depth knowledge of banking systems especially in capital markets.
Basic knowledge of programming languages used in banking.
