Your new role
As a Business Development Lead you will:

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans including short medium and long-term strategies business plans reports budgets and forecasts to achieve departmental and company objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate new strategic opportunities by assessing pipeline projects technologies modalities and markets to diversify the portfolio and grow market share.
  • Define industry standards and assess growth potential for emerging technologies and therapy areas to guide strategic prioritisation and investment decisions.
  • Lead end-to-end due diligence on external innovation opportunities synthesising scientific commercial regulatory and financial inputs and presenting clear findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Secure internal deal mandates and lead negotiations to finalise agreements with external partners ensuring favourable commercial and strategic terms and timely deal closure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all levels gathering business insights and influencing decisions to ensure strategic alignment and successful implementation.
  • Assess the feasibility of entering new therapy areas and markets providing actionable insights risk assessments and recommendations to support business expansion and portfolio diversification.

Your new department
This role reports directly to the Cardiometabolic Marketing Director and is based in Thailand. As part of the Cardiometabolic Marketing department a dynamic and innovative team dedicated to driving growth and innovation in the cardiometabolic space. The department is fast-paced and collaborative with a strong focus on delivering impactful solutions for patients worldwide. Your skills & qualifications
Were looking for a Business Development Lead who will appreciate working in a high-paced dynamic environment. Youll bring with you:

  • Relevant academic degree (Bachelor/Master) from Business Administration or Life Sciences.
  • Minimum 810 years of experience in business development strategy or related roles within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry with a solid understanding of industry dynamics and commercial drivers.
  • Demonstrated track record of negotiating and closing complex external innovation deals including deal structuring commercial terms management and successful partner integration.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior management and cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives and deliver results.
  • Experience evaluating new therapy areas modalities and markets including market assessment feasibility analysis and identification of high-potential growth opportunities.
