What we are looking for:
Applications are now open for Deputy Principal to join the leadership team of Catherine McAuley College Mackay commencing January 2026. This is an exciting new leadership opportunity for applicants demonstrating deep commitment to Catholic education who actively participate in the faith life of their parish and who have strong teaching experience academic qualifications and leadership qualities.
The Deputy Principal role is to provide general leadership in support of the Principal in the achievement of the acknowledged mission and goals of the school community and areas delegated by the Principal as designated in the Deputys duty statement. The Deputy Principal may act in place of the Principal during periods of Principals absence. The Deputy Principals primary role is to assist the Principal in ensuring suitably qualified staff are sourced for the College and for the welfare well-being and professional support of the College staff.
